Ken Cross
Ken Cross grew up on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. He discovered birding while studying at the University of Queensland and it has since become a passion. Birding has taken him to every continent except Antarctica. Ken is a high school teacher of English, Geography, and History and between times leads birding trips around Australia and Internationally. Currently he is the convenor for the Sunshine Coast sub-branch of Birdlife Australia and leads birding walks and surveys. Ken loves sharing his passion for birds and all wildlife. In 2022 he started a not for profit Backyards for Biodiversity SEQ - dedicated to encouraging all to value wildlife and nature; especially that nature that can exist in backyards!
